Question: Where will the conference be held?
Answer: Dynamic Connections 2020 will be held at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina in San Diego, CA.
Question: What are the conference dates?
Answer: Dynamic Connections 2020 will be held April 28 - 30, 2020.
Question: How do I stay informed about DC20?

Question: Will the event be filmed and photographed?
Answer:

Yes, filming and photography will take place in the plenary sessions and The Hive, but no one will be filmed or photographed without their consent.

Question: What should I wear?
Answer:

Business casual attire and comfortable walking shoes are recommended in educational sessions and the exhibit hall. Some events will take place outdoors.

Question: Is this the same conference as the GDC4S User’s Conference that has been held in the past?
Answer:

No. Dynamic Connections 2020 is an enhanced user experience that combines the same training elements of the GDC4S User’s Conference with the opportunity to better engage with peers and industry experts on the latest in cybersecurity.

Question: What training will be provided?
Answer:

Training is the cornerstone of Dynamic Connections 2020. Our schedule is designed to allow you to experience everything DC20 has to offer. Full details on training sessions are coming soon.

Question: Will I get proof that I completed training?
Answer:

Yes! For each training session attended, you’ll receive a certificate of completion after the show.

Question: Do I need a sponsorship letter?
Answer:

For those attendees not directly associated with a U.S. Government agency, a letter of sponsorship on government letterhead is required that identifies the attendee's name, company and affiliated government entity. Please click here for an example sponsor letter. For those who cannot get an agency to sponsor them, General Dynamics will be sponsoring a limited number of attendees. If you are planning to request General Dynamics' sponsorship, please do so during the registration process.

No, all training classes and sessions are first-come, first-served.

Question: Who is eligible to attend?
Answer:

This event is open to those affiliated with a U.S. Government agency or partner, and Five Eye government employees. Due to the nature of the training and content provided at Dynamic Connections 2020, attendance is limited and subject to approval. All Foreign Nationals require final approval by the U.S. Government in order to attend this conference. Any Foreign National who does not receive prior approval will not be permitted to attend the conference.

Question: Is there a cost to attend?
Answer:

There is no registration cost associated with Dynamic Connections 2020. This event meets the criteria for a Widely Attended Gathering. Travel and accommodation costs are the responsibility of the attendee.

Note to U.S. government attendees:
Effective January 1, 2017, the Office of Government Ethics (OGE) amended 5 CFR Part 2635, Standards of Ethical Conduct for Employees of the Executive Branch; Amendment to the Standards Governing Solicitation and Acceptance of Gifts from Outside Sources.

Attendance at this Dynamic Connections 2020 event is offered without charge to U.S. Government attendees, industry partners and other invitees. U.S. Government attendees are advised to seek guidance from your Designated Agency Ethics Official (DAEO) as to whether your acceptance of free attendance to this event is permitted under your agency’s widely attended gathering (WAG) rule and obtain any determinations required by such rule or other applicable regulations. General Dynamics Mission Systems has prepared information on this event that will assist your DAEO in making this determination, and this information is available upon request. Please contact us at DynamicConnections@gd-ms.com to make your request.

If the responsible DAEO determines that this event does not qualify as a WAG or you are unable to obtain a WAG determination prior to attending, you or your employer can reimburse the sponsors of this event for the estimated aggregate fair market value expended for each attendee by providing cash or a check at the event registration table and a receipt will be provided upon request. 

Question: How do I register?
Answer:

Click here to register for Dynamic Connections 2020. When you have submitted your registration, you will get an email letting you know the status of your registration. If you do not receive an email, please check your spam filter.

Please note that all U.S. citizens are required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship to receive approval to attend this event.

Question: Is there a cancellation policy?
Answer: If circumstances or policies in your organization change and you can no longer attend DC20, you may cancel your registration by providing written notice to DC20 Organizer at the contact information stated above.

Please remember that canceling your registration does not automatically cancel your hotel and travel arrangements. Individuals are responsible for canceling their own hotel and travel reservations.

 

 

Question: Are attendee substitutions allowed?
Answer:

Due to the nature of the training, content and approval process, attendee substitutions are not allowed.

Question: I can't find my confirmation number. What do I do?
Answer:

Your confirmation number is included in the Pending Registration email that you have received. If you are unable to locate your confirmation number, please reach out to DynamicConnections@gd-ms.com and we will be happy to resend it to you.

Question: How do I become an exhibitor or sponsor?
Answer: As a sponsor or exhibitor, your organization will have the opportunity to showcase products and technology in The Hive expo hall, meet with the General Dynamics Mission Systems team and DC20 attendees, and schedule one-on-one engagements throughout the conference.

Question: How do I obtain an invoice from my sponsorship registration?
Answer: Upon completion of a signed contract, an invoice will be sent to the designated contact. If you have not received your invoice with 5 business days, please contact DynamicConnections@gd-ms.com.
